<p>Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Meat Packer to join Baldor's Golden Meat division. This role is responsible for accurately packing and preparing a variety of meat products for distribution while maintaining strict food safety, quality, and efficiency standards.</p> <p>The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Inspect, prepare, and pack various cuts of meat according to customer orders</p> <p>Accurately weigh, label, and package products for distribution</p> <p>Ensure all products meet quality and food safety standards</p> <p>Operate machinery and equipment used in meat preparation and packaging</p> <p>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment</p> <p>Learn and identify different cuts of meat and their packaging requirements</p> <p>Support team operations and cross-train in different areas of the department</p> <p>Follow all company policies and procedures, including HACCP, GMP, SOP, and SSOP standards</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred</p> <p>Previous experience in meat packing, butchery, or food production preferred</p> <p>Ability to read labels, record weights, and follow instructions accurately</p> <p>Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)</p> <p>Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs or more on a regular basis</p> <p>Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)</p> <p>Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and kneeling</p> <p>Repetitive hand movements including grasping, pushing, and pulling</p> <p>Ability to work in a cold and wet environment</p> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Onsite role at Golden Meat facility in the Bronx</p> <p>Cold environment with temperatures ranging from approximately 36°F to 38°F</p> <p>Fast-paced production setting</p> <p>Exposure to loud machinery and equipment</p> <p>Schedule Requirements:</p> <p>Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed</p> <p>Why Join Us:</p> <p>Stable, full-time opportunity</p> <p>Weekly pay</p> <p>Opportunity for growth and development</p> <p>Team-oriented and supportive work environment</p>
