<p>PRIMARY FUNCTION:</p> <p>Provide key support for rental shop operations and maintains vital administrative operational responsibilities.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Opens service calls for Rental Operations. </li><li>Daily assignment of service calls for technicians, based upon fleet and customer demand. </li><li>Review, update, and pre-close service calls. Maintain service call filing system. </li><li>Verify technician time entries (wip & non wip) </li><li>Review and update equipment status of return, ready, quick turn and down areas. </li><li>Generate repair estimates to customers for repair/cleaning/damage/loss required upon equipment return </li><li>Route warranty documents to the warranty department after initial review. </li><li>Process meal and outside purchase expenses. Code and route for approval. </li><li>Manage purchase orders and bill outside purchases to service calls. </li><li>Assist technicians with personnel and system issues (e.g., Dayforce, GPAX). </li><li>Support rental operations in Garner, Hope Mills and Leland. </li><li>Assists Operations Manager and others with projects as needed. </li><li>Supports after-hours on call and rotates with other personnel for on-call duty. </li></ul> <p>II. Customer Service</p> <ul> <li>Handle rental repair/service inquiries (phone, walk-in, mail). </li><li>Resolve customer service complaints. </li><li>Communicate service updates to sales reps and coordinators. </li><li>Coordinate outbound and return equipment with yard technicians and haulers. </li><li>Act as a liaison between customers, coordinators and technicians for repair and preventive maintenance of rental equipment on jobsites. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>High school diploma.</p> <p>Work Experience:</p> <p>Two years in a similar administrative role, a technical background preferred.</p> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication (email, text, phone, in-person). </li><li>Excellent customer service. </li><li>Intermediate PC skills, especially with Microsoft Word </li></ul> <p>Physical:</p> <ul> <li>Role may be located in a shop floor environment or office </li><li>Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to bend, kneel and lift 75 pounds. </li></ul> <p>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
