<p>A Chicago-based commercial interior design and manufacturing company, specializing in acoustic solutions, is looking to add a Rhino Designer to their team!</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Develop drawings and documentation through the lifecycle of projects from Design to Engineering </li><li>Designers have shared ownership of projects from assignment through install </li><li>Communicate schedule and project needs to the Design Manager (DM) to ensure accurate loading and scheduling </li><li>Follow best practices in digital housekeeping of project files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and organization </li><li>Verify product layout and use, communicating with the various project and process leads to ensure accuracy </li><li>Develop custom design solutions and products for custom and boutique projects in tandem with the DM </li><li>Validate through prototyping all proposed custom solutions and their feasibility for mass manufacture </li><li>Involved in client meetings to discuss feedback and maintain product requirements </li><li>Package the complete product specification for Design, Engineering, and Production </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture </li><li>2+ years of professional experience in a commercial based architecture/design firm </li><li>Design (rendering, layouts, interior design) and construction document experience (specifically reflective ceiling plans) </li><li>Experience working in Rhino professionally; familiarity with Grasshopper and AutoCAD/Revit </li><li>Digital fabrication experience </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $28.37 - $38.46/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
