<p>Job Title: Accounts Receivable Analyst</p> <p>Location: East Granby, CT</p> <p>Department: Finance/Accounts Receivable</p> <p>Reports To: Accounts Receivable Supervisor</p> <p>Job Summary: The AR Analyst is responsible for managing accounts receivable, with a focus on collection efforts across assigned states. This role supports and assists with various ad hoc projects, including key accounts and cash application.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Accounts Receivable Management:</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce outstanding debts.</p> </li><li> <p>Collection Efforts:</p> </li><li> <p>Lead collection activities for one or two designated states and key accounts to ensure timely payments.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate effective collections.</p> </li><li> <p>Accounts Receivable Reporting:</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual invoices and reports related to collections and accounts receivable.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies in all financial reporting.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication:</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, customer service) to resolve payment issues and improve customer relations.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and negotiate payment plans when necessary, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive company image .</p> </li><li> <p>Data Analysis:</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze financial data and collection metrics to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare detailed reports on collections performance for management review.</p> </li><li> <p>Ad Hoc Projects:</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in special projects and reporting initiatives as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide support in optimizing billing processes and improving efficiency.</p> </li></ul>
