Rohrer Center Department CAMDEN COUNTY CULTURAL HERITAGE COMMISSION Days and Hours 20 hours per week Requisition Number Job Description</p> <p>POSITION GOALS</p> <ul> <li>The Project Assistant will provide administrative support for the programming on behalf of the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission at Camden County College that promotes public interest in local history, the arts, and the cultural values, goals, traditions, and heritage of the College, Camden County, and New Jersey. </li><li>The Project Assistant will remain consistent with Camden County College's acknowledgement of the inherent value and dignity of all individuals by creating and nurturing a learning and working environment that affirms and leverages our community's traditions, heritages, perspectives, and experiences. We manifest this commitment through our innovative, strategic and collaborative efforts to develop leaders who believe in and lead others toward practicing civility, mutual respect, in our workplaces and society. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Provide administrative support for the daily operations for the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission at Camden County College. </li><li>Answer all Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission communications in a timely manner. </li><li>Maintain contact with the various organizations and facilities within Camden County whose programs and services relate to fine arts, applied arts, performing arts, and history to achieve Commission goals. </li><li>Maintain Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission organization databases. </li><li>Maintain engagement and assessment data to support the tracking and monitoring of the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission's programming. </li><li>Coordinate the scheduling of activities and planning of various spaces for the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission's programming. </li><li>Assist in maintaining accurate records of program income and expenses, ensuring accurate and timely payments of artists and organizations, according to budgets. </li><li>Coordinate the marketing of Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission programs in conjunction with the Commission and the College's Communications Department, and appropriate College personnel. </li><li>Update the catalog of the of the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission's permanent collection. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills. </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in use of technology and software applications, specifically in Microsoft Office. </li><li>Demonstrated excellence in communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population. </li></ul> <p>Ability to work a flexible schedule for events at all campuses and off campus is expected.
