This isn't just a job, it's a chance to make a profound difference by fostering resilience, self-determination, and community connection. If you're passionate about mental health advocacy and believe in the power of peer support, we'd love to have you on our team.</p> <ul> <li>Be a Beacon of Hope: Share your recovery journey to motivate and empower individuals, showing them growth is possible. </li><li>Advocate & Educate: Help individuals combat stigma, understand their rights, and navigate mental health systems with confidence. </li><li>Build Trusted Relationships: Use active listening and empathy to create a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and growth. </li><li>Collaborate for Change: Work alongside a dedicated team to ensure recovery-focused, person-centered care. </li><li>Teach Practical Skills: Support individuals in daily wellness-from housing stability to self-care-helping them thrive independently. </li><li>Lead with Lived Experience: Bridge gaps between clinical teams and individuals by offering unique insight into their needs and strengths. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>Lived Experience: A personal history of recovery and a deep commitment to the peer support movement. </li><li>Certification: Must be a Certified Peer Specialist, Recovery Coach, or Young Adult Peer Mentor. </li><li>Compassionate Communicator: Strong listening skills and the ability to connect with diverse backgrounds. </li><li>Resourceful Advocate: Knowledge of mental health systems and community resources in Southeastern MA. </li><li>Reliable & Independent: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (travel required). </li><li>Bonus: Fluency in languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole. </li></ul> <p>Monday-Friday 9a-5p</p> <p>40hrs</p>
