<p>Wild Dunes Resort seeks an enthusiastic and energetic Mermaid Instructor to lead guests in a unique and immersive mermaid swimming experience. This role involves teaching individuals of all ages how to swim safely while wearing a mermaid tail, incorporating water skills, fitness elements, and a touch of storytelling magic to create unforgettable experiences.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct Mermaid Swimming Lessons: Teach guests how to safely swim and move in the water while wearing a mermaid tail, adapting lessons based on age and skill level. </li><li>Ensure Guest Safety: Monitor participants during lessons, enforce water safety protocols, and provide guidance to ensure a fun and secure experience. </li><li>Engage & Entertain Guests: Create an interactive, engaging, and whimsical atmosphere, incorporating storytelling and themed activities to enhance the mermaid experience. </li><li>Demonstrate & Assist: Lead by example, demonstrating proper swimming techniques and assisting guests with putting on and removing their mermaid tails. </li><li>Host Themed Events & Activities: Participate in resort events such as mermaid meet-and-greets, birthday parties, and special themed experiences. </li><li>Maintain Equipment: Ensure mermaid tails and related gear are clean, well-maintained, and stored properly. </li><li>Provide Excellent Customer Service: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring an enjoyable and memorable experience. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong swimming skills; previous lifeguard or swim instructor experience is a plus. </li><li>Comfortable performing and interacting with guests in a themed or entertainment-based role. </li><li>CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). </li><li>Ability to work in and around water for extended periods. </li><li>Outgoing personality with excellent communication and guest engagement skills. </li><li>Experience in performance, theater, or children's entertainment is a plus. </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. </li></ul>
