This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.</p> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Pay of $20.00 per hour + $1.50 shift differential </li><li>First Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM </li><li>Second Shift | Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM </li><li>Temp-to-hire opportunity </li><li>Health benefits </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Referral program </li><li>Opportunity for advancement </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>2 years of related experience preferred </li><li>Knowledge of printing processes preferred </li><li>Basic math skills, including fractions </li><li>Basic computer skills (BDE/SAP experience preferred) </li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude </li><li>Ability to distinguish colors </li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment </li><li>Ability to lift 26-50 lbs. and meet physical job requirements </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do as a Machine Operator:</p> <ul> <li>Package finished products at the rewinder station </li><li>Splice new base paper rolls at the unwinder station </li><li>Remove roll headers and unwrap base paper rolls </li><li>Clean equipment using solvents </li><li>Swap pans, splash guards, and doctor blades in the lacquering machine </li><li>Change coating units and rollers in the lacquering machine </li><li>Enter finished product data into BDE/SAP systems </li><li>Measure and add pigments according to specifications </li><li>Operate a forklift to transport rolls and coating totes </li><li>Assist with lacquering operations and equipment cleaning </li><li>Maintain clean and organized work areas </li><li>Follow recycling procedures and empty dumpsters as needed </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul>
