Ranked as a top PMCM firm by Engineering News-Record (ENR) for more than three decades, our award-winning team provides a full range of services to public and private sector clients in the aviation; healthcare; education (K-12 and higher); justice and essential services; science and technology; state and local government; transportation; water and wastewater; energy; and commercial, residential and nonprofit markets.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Establishes the structures, formulae, and assumptions necessary to plan for multibillionschool construction </li><li>Manages and oversees planning and master planning architects and in-house staff Workswith Board staff to translate policy direction into actionable staff instructions </li><li>Coordinates with the Office of Environmental, Health and Safety (OEHS) for CaliforniaEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) and other agency environmental clearances </li><li>Protects the long- term asset values and uses of district real estate and other assets </li><li>Formulates strategies that increase the flexible use of district assets </li><li>Regulates appropriate resources and energy toward high priority, high risk, high benefitprojects for the District </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering,architecture, or construction management. </li><li>Additional courses in business administration, public relations, accounting, school finance,personnel management, educational facilities planning, and communication are preferred </li><li>Twenty (20) years full-time paid professional experience in planning and development ofpublic agencies, educational or institutional facilities </li><li>Five years' experience overseeing complex survey activities of educational properties forphysical attributes and current and possible future facilities uses </li><li>Five years overseeing development of recommendations for allocation of anticipated fundsthat will enable future projects to be developed and undertaken </li><li>Five years overseeing recommendations for future projects priority lists and phasing thatsupports educational master plans/educational programming </li><li>A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California State Architectural Board orProfessional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors preferred </li><li>A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction Manager CertificationInstitute (CMCI) LEED Professional Accreditation preferred </li></ul> <p>Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
