<p>Our Salt Lake City, UT Terminal is hiring immediately for a Logistics Operations Manager.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Competitive Pay</p> </li><li> <p>Plans, directs, coordinates and controls the freight operations of an agent and/or company terminal with company objectives for-profit services. Specifically involved in line haul loading and management within in the scope of operations as assigned by Region Operations level or above.</p> </li><li> <p>Direct all management functions in the scope of operations assigned. Coordinates the work of operations activities by oversees company business in such areas as: pickup and delivery operations, dock operations, night operations, inbound and outbound road operations, company office and equipment maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Initiates, compiles and disseminates information and statistics relative to the operational problems and costs within the scope of operations assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Selects and recommends personnel for various positions and trains assigned personnel to become knowledgeable and understand Midwest system of operation, according to the position applied for.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsibilities include manpower planning and employment (labor cost control - cost performance per man hour).
