<p>Part-time Instructor, Culinary JobID: 894</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Part-time Instruction</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>3/3/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Owasso Campus</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position Description:</p> <ul> <li>Five (5) years experience working in a commercial kitchen setting is required. </li><li>Management and supervisory experience is required. </li><li>Provide hands-on instruction in a classroom/kitchen setting to adult students covering introductory culinary arts topics. </li><li>Must hold or be willing to obtain ServSafe certification upon employment. </li><li>This position requires flexibility to work one or two evenings per week, as scheduled throughout the spring, summer and fall semesters. </li></ul> <p>Job Functions for all ACD Instructors:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter. </li><li>Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction. </li><li>Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies. </li><li>Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught. </li><li>Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.). </li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program. </li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department. </li><li>Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of a culinary program preferred.</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Evening</p> <p>Salary Schedule:</p> <p>Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees.</p> <p>Hiring Range:</p> <p>$30 per hour - Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional kitchen, including management and supervisory experience required.</p> <p>$35 per hour - Graduate of a culinary program.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>For maximum consideration, receipt of application material is March 10.
