<p>OUTDOOR POOL DAYTIME MAINTENANCE</p> <p>CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled</p> <p>PAY RANGE: $11.87 - $14.24 (depending on experience)</p> <p>SCHEDULE: Monday - Saturday: 7:00 am - 12:00 pm</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Recreation</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Perform various maintenance and custodial jobs at the Lehi City Outdoor Pool:</p> <ul> <li>Some work with hazardous materials and small equipment. </li><li>Must possess good swimming skills and overall good physical conditioning. </li><li>On-the-job training is available. </li><li>Work 4 hours a day Monday-Saturday. </li><li>Responsible for keeping equipment at the aquatics facility in good running condition. </li><li>Repair or replace worn-out or broken equipment. </li><li>Keep the aquatic facilities clean. </li><li>Work under the direct supervision of the head maintenance person and aquatic managers. </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 18 years old. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Knowledge of mechanical functioning of an aquatic facility preferred or other mechanical experience with the willingness to learn. </li><li>Physically fit. </li><li>Proficient swimmer. </li><li>Good written and verbal skills. </li><li>Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, volunteers, and the public. </li><li>Pass drug and background check. </li></ul> <p>Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.</p>
