<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment. </li><li>Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. </li><li>On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment. </li><li>Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards. </li><li>Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. </li><li>Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas. </li><li>Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped. </li><li>Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers. </li><li>Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances. </li><li>Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. </li><li>Assist in physical inventories. </li><li>Ensure proper stock rotation. </li><li>Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely. </li><li>Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance. </li><li>Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process. </li><li>Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can't be self-corrected to the leadership team. </li><li>Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. </li><li>Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Friendly and Open-Door culture</p> <p>Compensation: $22.00hr plus a $2.00 shift differential</p> <p>Schedule: Flexible night shifts - 5-hour and 10-hour options available.</p>
