<p>TECHNICIAN - PLANT</p> <p>Essential Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs all duties and activities in a manner that conforms to site specific safety requirements, company policy, state and federal regulations. </li><li>Plant start-up and operations. </li><li>Monitor plant controls while in operation. </li><li>Make plant adjustments (tons per hour, gravity, temperature, etc.). </li><li>Plant shutdown. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>General clean-up. </li><li>Mechanic helper on plant repairs. </li><li>Perform other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Must have overall knowledge of coal preparation process. </li><li>Must have working knowledge of plant circuits that are involved in preparation. </li><li>Familiar with running and safety controls </li><li>Know the Safe Job Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, company safety policies, and applicable rules and regulations. </li><li>Welding experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Working Environment:</p> <ul> <li>The operator must constantly be attentive to the changing geological conditions and surrounding environment. </li></ul> <p>Education, Qualifications and Training:</p> <ul> <li>Annual 8 hour retraining </li><li>On-the-job experience </li><li>Vocational training (optional) </li><li>Other qualifications as required by the company </li></ul>
