Description</p> <p>Membership Marketing Manager Job Description</p> <p>Wage: DOE</p> <p>Shift: Full-time, generally Mon-Fri 8:30am - 5pm.</p> <p>Benefits: Free Thanksgiving Point Membership for you and immediate family; medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurances; paid time off & holidays; 401(k); Employee Assistance Program; Financial Assistance Program; Thanksgiving Point venue discounts; and more!</p> <p>Summary: Thanksgiving Point is seeking a strategic and results-driven Membership Marketing Manager to lead membership acquisition, retention, engagement, and revenue growth initiatives. This role combines marketing strategy, customer lifecycle management, campaign execution, analytics, and team leadership to grow membership performance and strengthen long-term member relationships.</p> <p>The ideal candidate has experience in marketing campaign management, CRM and email marketing, customer retention strategies, digital marketing, and performance analytics. This position works cross-functionally to develop data-informed campaigns that increase membership sales, improve renewal rates, and enhance the overall member experience.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Membership Growth & Revenue Performance</p> <ul> <li>Lead strategies that drive membership sales, recurring revenue, retention, and member lifetime value. </li><li>Develop and execute member acquisition and retention campaigns across multiple marketing channels. </li><li>Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting in partnership with Finance and Marketing leadership. </li><li>Manage and optimize membership auto-renewal programs to improve retention and recurring revenue performance. </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, customer engagement, and membership growth. </li><li>Maintain an active presence during membership sales initiatives and high-traffic events. </li></ul> <p>Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement integrated marketing plans focused on membership growth and retention. </li><li>Create and oversee marketing content across email marketing, website content, digital advertising, social media, paid media, and in-venue messaging. </li><li>Ensure messaging clearly communicates membership value, urgency, benefits, and mission impact. </li><li>Collaborate with creative, digital, and operational teams to launch campaigns that drive measurable results. </li><li>Monitor and optimize campaign performance through A/B testing, audience targeting, and creative analysis. </li><li>Manage promotional campaigns and sales incentives for front desk and information desk teams. </li></ul> <p>Data, Analytics & Customer Insights</p> <ul> <li>Analyze membership trends, customer behavior, campaign performance, and retention metrics to guide strategy. </li><li>Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and marketing effectiveness. </li><li>Use data insights to improve campaign targeting, customer engagement, and conversion performance. </li><li>Partner with IT and digital teams to ensure CRM accuracy, reporting functionality, and data usability. </li></ul> <p>CRM, Automation & Process Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities to streamline and automate membership marketing and communication processes. </li><li>Implement and optimize CRM platforms, email marketing systems, and marketing automation tools. </li><li>Improve workflows and system integrations to support marketing operations, reporting, and customer experience. </li><li>Support lifecycle marketing initiatives including onboarding, renewals, win-back campaigns, and member communications. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, including but not limited to: </li><li>Membership Inbound Specialist </li><li>Provide clear priorities, accountability, and performance feedback for team deliverables. </li><li>Oversee inbound and outbound member communications including phone, email, and chat support. </li><li>Support team training related to CRM systems, marketing processes, customer service, and operational best practices. </li><li>Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Guest Experience, Operations, Finance, and IT teams. </li><li>Culture & Mission Alignment </li><li>Represent Thanksgiving Point's mission to ignite curiosity and build confidence in children. </li><li>Demonstrate curiosity, compassion, and confidence through leadership, collaboration, and customer engagement. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Reliable, responsive, positive, and professional at all times. </li><li>Previous related experience required. </li><li>2+ years of related experience. </li><li>Related degree preferred. </li><li>At least 1 year of management experience. </li><li>Appropriately manage time and tasks </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency with computers including Word, Excel and other related Office Software, as well as the ability to type at least 50 wpm. </li><li>Ability to think on your feet and have sound judgement </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills </li><li>Be cooperative, proactive, professional, upbeat, discerning, and kind at all times. </li><li>Exemplify a "can-do" attitude for all employees. </li><li>Be a positive ambassador of Thanksgiving Point inside and outside of work. </li><li>Must be able to lift 20lbs, sit for long periods of time, manipulate small objects, and communicate clearly in English. </li><li>Must pass a background check. </li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age. </li></ul> <p>EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
