<p>What will you do?</p> <ul> <li> <p>At DODD'S assigned Developmental Centers and/or offices, answers questions from end users, offers technical solutions and assistance to meet business needs of customers and presents informal mentorship opportunities to peers and/or lower-level staff via conversation, observation, or technical documentation</p> </li><li> <p>Offers assistance with producing various reports for the center</p> </li><li> <p>Independently installs, maintains, configures, upgrades and/or administers hardware (e.g., PCs, laptops, printers) and/or software (e.g., MS Office Professional)</p> </li><li> <p>Provides Tier II-III level customer support, business continuity, promotes system security and awareness by adhering to the Agency's and/or State's IT security policy(s) and standards, telecommunications, and physical network connectivity</p> </li><li> <p>Devises new approaches to problems encountered</p> </li><li> <p>Diagnoses, analyzes, and resolves issues for customer(s) in assigned single technology domain</p> </li><li> <p>Creates, organizes, files, and maintains ITS documentation</p> </li><li> <p>Grant access, maintain user accounts, troubleshoot problems, and upgrade software</p> </li><li> <p>Takes appropriate action and responds to alarms/alerts per agency policy and procedure (e.g., anti-virus, spam)</p> </li><li> <p>Provides input and suggestions to supervisor/management relative to scope of duties</p> </li><li> <p>Performs client support for specific agency/enterprise systems</p> </li><li> <p>This includes user account support, end user support and training, and application support</p> </li><li> <p>Interfaces with other platforms from a hardware and/or software perspective (e.g., video conference equipment)</p> </li><li> <p>Changes telephone system (moves\adds\changes), updates speed dial, assists with running call reports</p> </li><li> <p>Support DC payroll department with Kronos time clock hardware configuration</p> </li><li> <p>Configure wireless devices to connect and operate on the network (e.g., laptops, smart phones, etc.)</p> </li></ul> <p>To request a reasonable accommodation due to disability, please contact our ADA Coordinator by email at EEO-DiversityAffairs@dodd.ohio.gov .</p> <p>36 months' combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain including 12 months' work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>Completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems AND 18 months' combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain including 12 months' work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems AND 12 months' combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating a single technology domain including 12 months' work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
