<p>The Engineering team is looking for highly motivated entry level Engineering Technicians to support accelerated product durability testing. This role is very hands-on; Technicians personally assemble and disassemble vehicle components (e.g., door latches, struts, trunk, hood), build test fixtures, and execute tests. A successful candidate for this role must have a passion to learn and develop new skills. All team members collaborate to develop and implement effective solutions quickly. Flexible scheduling may be accommodated.</p> <ul> <li>Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits </li><li>Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections </li><li>Collaborate with Engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discovered </li><li>Support Engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition </li><li>Assist and learn from other Technicians and Engineers </li><li>Assemble & wire test fixtures </li><li>Excellent written & verbal communication skills </li><li>Attention to details with strong organization skills </li><li>Analytical problem-solving skills with a desire for professional development </li><li>Basic experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word) </li><li>Experience with measurement tools (multi-meters, force gauges, torque wrenches, calipers, DAQ's) </li><li>Experience with fabrication equipment (drills, Band Saw) </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems </li><li>Understanding of Ohms law, Kirchhoff's laws </li><li>Ability to read wiring diagrams, and CAN communication </li><li>Experience working with low voltage components </li></ul>
