<p>Description</p> <p>Job Title:</p> <p>Healthcare Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst</p> <p>On site in Little Rock, AR</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Healthcare Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data-driven reports and dashboards to support clinical, operational, and strategic decision-making. This role leverages business intelligence tools, data analytics, and healthcare domain knowledge to transform complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and data analysis-oriented candidate to provide leadership and strategic oversight across key operational areas of our growing urology specialty practice, including Information Technology (IT), Data Analytics, and Special Projects. This role is instrumental in optimizing efficiency, supporting clinical care, and driving strategic initiatives across the organization.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will bring strong healthcare operational experience, familiarity with the unique needs of urology practices, and the ability to bridge clinical priorities with operational execution.</p> <p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Excel, SQL and Athena. </li><li>Extract, validate, and analyze large datasets from EHRs (e.g., Athena, SIS, Verdigm, etc.), financial systems (Sage, Great Plains, etc.), and other healthcare systems. </li><li>Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful data insights. </li><li>Translate complex healthcare data into clear, concise metrics (e.g., utilization, quality, cost, outcomes). </li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create standardized and ad hoc reports to support value-based care, population health, and quality initiatives. </li><li>Work with IT and system superusers to ensure data integrity and consistency. </li><li>Support the development of automated reporting processes and self-service BI capabilities. </li><li>General ongoing executive support. </li><li>Participate in special projects focused on process improvement, and ongoing improvement projects. </li></ul> <p>Data Analytics & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Lead data initiatives that track performance metrics such as provider productivity, patient throughput, case costing, clinical and departmental financial analysis, and referral trends. </li><li>Collaborate with analytics teams to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, Excel-based reports, and visual tools to support decision-making. </li><li>Leverage Athena EMR data to extract insights, monitor operational KPIs, and support clinical quality improvement. </li><li>Promote a data-driven culture by ensuring accurate, actionable, and timely reporting for stakeholders across the practice on a regular and timely basis. </li></ul> <p>Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives</p> <ul> <li>Manage cross-functional projects including new clinic openings, service line expansion (e.g., ambulatory surgery, advanced procedures), and performance improvement. </li><li>Work with leadership to plan and execute growth strategies, improve operational efficiency, and elevate the patient experience. </li><li>Use SharePoint and other collaboration tools to manage documentation, workflows, and project timelines. </li></ul> <p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Analytics, Public Health, Health Information Management, or Business Intelligence. </li><li>2-5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, reporting, or BI. </li><li>Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL and working with Athena data. </li><li>Strong understanding of healthcare metrics and workflows. </li><li>Excellent organization, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Business or a related field. </li><li>Experience working in a specialty practice or clinical operations setting. </li><li>Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, Excel). </li><li>Exposure to value-based care or quality improvement metrics </li><li>Strong understanding of the healthcare payer/provider environment, including revenue cycle processes, payer reimbursement structures, and operational impacts on financial performance. </li></ul>
