<p>Total Health Care, Inc.</p> <p>Title: Pediatrician</p> <p>GREAT SCHEDULE M-F 8:30 am to 5 pm!</p> <p>Various Job Schedule Opportunities!</p> <p>Full-Time, Part-Time PRN</p> <p>Job Class Specification/Job Description</p> <p>Grade: TBD</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>Financial Disclosure: May be required to file.</p> <p>Designation as Essential Personnel: Yes</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and/or their designee, the Pediatrician is responsible for providing medical services to the pediatric patient population (0 thru 17 years) of Total Health Care.</p> <p>Example of Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Perform complete physical examinations in the pediatric population and conduct annual health appraisals. </li><li>Participate in the provisions of: </li><li>Perform childcare including EPSDT. </li><li>Acute Pediatric care. </li><li>Consultations when needed. </li><li>Out-patient services for pediatric patients. </li><li>On-call services as scheduled. </li><li>Maintain accurate medical records, complete documentation in Medical Records and Encounters within 24 hours of patient encounter. </li><li>Participate in teaching assignments to students as well as clinical studies as determined by the Medical Director and THC. </li><li>Participate in all QI Programs including PEER Reviews. </li><li>Maintain a productivity standard of at least 4000-4200 encounters/year/FTE. </li><li>Participation in all assigned meetings. </li><li>Maintain current Licenses. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required</p> <p>Completion of an approved internship program. Completion of at least three (3) years of residency training from an approved accredited program. Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified.</p> <p>At least 2 years working in an ambulatory clinic setting preferred.</p> <p>Licenses and Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Maryland Medical License - State DEA - Federal DEA </li><li>Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified </li><li>Current CPR certification </li></ul> <p>COVID Vaccination Required:</p> <p>The Maryland Department of Health issued a directive effective Wednesday, September 1, 2021, employees required to show proof of [a] first dose or single dose of COVID-19 vaccination."
