<p>Location: Twinsburg, Ohio This role requires 5 day a week on site. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Provides oversight of all necessary inspections of articles maintained by the repair station to ensure overall quality of workmanship and material used in the repair and overhaul process. • Maintains all FAA Part 145 Repair Station Quality Control documents. • Performs internal audit and participates in quality oversight of FAA Part 145 Repair Station. • Demonstrates a thorough familiarity with all applicable FARs, company, and customer manuals applicable to their work assignments. • Demonstrates a thorough familiarity with necessary tooling, inspection aids and techniques to accomplish assigned tasks. • Ensures all maintenance and alterations that are performed by the repair station are in compliance to the applicable technical data. • Supports inspection and release documentation of articles processed in P145 Repair Station (as required). • Support the timely completion and documentation of the Internal Audit Process. • Generates and follows up on internal corrective action requests. • Focuses on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrates good business judgment. • Works effectively with all internal departments, customers, and Regulatory Agencies to exceed internal and external expectations for customer satisfaction. • Travel: 5% (general guideline: once per year) within U.S/Outside U.S. • Other duties may be assigned. • Evening/night hours may be required. • Extra hours may be required during business peak times. Education Required: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-5 years manufacturing experience in the field of Quality. Knowledge/Skills Required: • At least 3+ years of experience in the aerospace sector. • Prior experience with FAA Part 145 regulations. • Experience with Aerospace Quality Standards AS9100 / AS9110, NADCAP etc… • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical procedures, purchase specifications, applicable FAA regulations, contractual terms and conditions. • Ability to use a variety of quality measurement equipment, Micrometer, Vernier's, Shadowgraph, CMM etc… • Strong problem-solving skills. • Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak Standard English, including technical, aircraft and quality control-related vocabulary, for technical and general business correspondence and for producing work products. • Must be able to adhere to all established safety policies, processes, and procedures. • Proficient in use of MS Office software, Excel, Word & PowerPoint. • Experience in a manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Preferred Skills: • 5+ years in aerospace sector • Ability to apply for and receive FAA Repairman Certification. • Prior FAA Part 145 MRO experience. • Experience reading, reviewing and comprehending P145 Service Documentation (Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Temporary Revisions, Service Information Letters, etc.) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Typical office environment requiring the use of typical office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, etc.) Computer keyboarding, computer monitor and mouse use including reaching forward, grasping, finger and wrist manipulation and neck bending and turning; near vision is necessary for computer monitor usage. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally is exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and could be subjected to wet and/or humid conditions. • The noise level in the work environment could be unusually loud at times (protection will be provided).</p>
