<p>The Position</p> <p>Information Technology (IT) Professionals analyze, develop, implement, maintain, and modify computer operations, systems, networks, databases, applications, and/or information security. Incumbents may perform duties in one or more IT specialization areas depending on the needs of the agency.</p> <p>Under general direction, incumbents perform advanced journey level duties and may train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of subordinate staff and/or serve as a project leader as assigned. Incumbents may function as a unit leader to include directing the activities of a branch IT support unit, overseeing projects of limited scope, and coordinating activities with other work groups. This is a supervisory level for Computer Operations and the journey level for Information Security positions.</p> <p>The Governor's Technology Office (GTO), Data as a Service team, is seeking an IT Professional 3 located in Carson City. This IT Professional 3 will serve as an administrator for Microsoft 365, specializing in the Power Platform suite, but will also work with SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Responsibilities include functioning as tier-three support by troubleshooting complex problems, acting as a liaison between Microsoft and agency technical staff, environment management, modernization project lead, user accounts and permission management, site management, data integrity and security, ticket management, and will function as the Power Platform suite subject matter expert (SME). <em>THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED.
