Our manufacturing facilities in Tennessee and Alabama, coupled with sales teams across Spain and Australia, allow us to power clean energy solutions across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Shoals is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Customer Solutions Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This role is pivotal in driving business growth and expanding our footprint within the U.S. utility-scale solar EPC market. The successful candidate will offer EPCs tailored solutions by engaging in early-stage project design, identifying opportunities to optimize electrical architecture, and supporting key pursuits with strategic technical input.</p> <p>This position combines strategic sales efforts with deep product and systems knowledge, enabling superior customer service, product fit, and design-driven differentiation.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute business development strategies targeting EPCs, enhancing Shoals Technologies' market share in the utility-scale solar sector. </li><li>Proactively engage with EPCs and developers during pre-RFP and early-stage design to influence project architecture, optimize system layout, and accelerate Shoals product adoption. </li><li>Serve as a liaison between sales, engineering, and operations, ensuring accurate and timely alignment on BOMs, lead times, and packaging strategies. </li><li>Support Account Executives during high-value pursuits by contributing to client discovery, technical storytelling, and value proposition development. </li><li>Lead technical conversations with clients by capturing the "voice of the customer" to guide product fit, system configuration, and solution evolution. </li><li>Contribute to value engineering exercises and proposal strategies by preparing project-specific use cases and technical differentiators. </li><li>Present Shoals Technologies products to EPCs by showcasing installation benefits, total cost of ownership advantages, and reduced labor strategies. </li><li>Collaborate internally to develop scalable sales enablement tools such as layout configurators, ROI calculators, and proposal templates. </li><li>Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the sales organization's purview to drive revenue growth. </li><li>Continuously monitor EPC project pipeline and market trends to inform strategic planning, customer targeting, and product roadmap input. </li><li>Support Shoals' digital transformation strategy by participating in initiatives related to system modeling, BIM integration, and configurator adoption. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. </li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in utility-scale solar, with preference for solar EPC, product development, or technical sales backgrounds. </li><li>Strong understanding of engineering and design principles related to EBOS solutions, including wiring systems, harness assemblies, and trunk bus architecture. </li><li>Preference for candidates with knowledge of Helioscope, PVsyst, AutoCAD, or other design tools. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and sales stakeholders. </li><li>Track record of managing client-facing projects, developing proposals, and leading technical pitches. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical value into client-specific business outcomes. </li><li>Self-motivated, with a proactive approach toward achieving sales goals and improving internal process efficiency. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an emphasis on collaboration, precision, and customer success. </li></ul> <p>Shoals Technologies Group, LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
