Ensure timely and accurate Eligibility and Benefit Assignments for NYAP clients to ensure timely and accurate payments.</p> <p>Working At NYAP</p> <ul> <li>NYAP's commitment to doing what is best for children, youth and their families is a core value and one that we look for in our newest team members. </li><li>22 Days Off Each Year! </li><li>Plus 11 Paid Holidays Per Year! </li><li>Excellent training and continuing education and development opportunities. </li><li>Student Loan Repayment assistance, up to $1,200 per year! </li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance for you and your family! </li><li>Competitive salaries and benefits including a 401(k) </li><li>Tuition Assistance </li><li>Work Anniversary Trips! </li><li>Peace leave </li><li>Flexible schedule </li><li>Mileage Reimbursement </li><li>Paternity leave </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Job will perform duties including, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program's mission, values, and philosophies. </li><li>Ensure all new clients have accurate eligibility and benefit assignments. </li><li>Ensure all clients and existing clients are updated and maintained within the E.H.R. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate eligibility changes are communicated to the clinical team. </li><li>Work with the OPMH team on any issues that arise regarding eligibility and benefit assignments. </li><li>Ensure timely rebills of claims affected by changes to eligibility and benefit assignments. </li><li>Ensure all eligibility and benefit assignment request are responded to within 1 business day. </li><li>Report any issues related to Eligibility and benefit assignments to Revenue Cycle Supervisor timely. </li><li>Ensure all eligibility and benefit assignments related to unbilled and/or held claims are resolved within 1 business day. </li><li>Oversight of Eligibility team including timecards, time off request, resolution to any employee issues and timely/accurate completion of work given. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>2 years eligibility experience required specifically in the private insurance and Medicare verification. </li><li>2 years' experience in a medical practice business office required. </li><li>Previous leadership experience preferred. </li><li>Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs. </li></ul> <p>Other skills</p> <ul> <li>Detailed oriented with above average organizational skills </li><li>Plans and prioritizes to meet deadlines. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills; communicates clearly and effectively. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Strong organizational skills. </li><li>Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. </li><li>Some travel if required. </li><li>Must be open and willing to work non-traditional work hours as well as on-call responsibilities. </li><li>Must be able to embrace working as a diverse team both effectively and respectfully with persons of any background, race, color, religion, sexual orientation, ability, national origin, or culture. </li><li>Provide excellent internal and external customer service. </li></ul> <p>Ready to make an impact?
