This responsibility should be part of our day-to-day working life by (i) living up to high quality standards and (ii) by recognizing the sense of urgency in areas of high medical need.</p> <p>uniQure is entering into an exciting time with its first ever product launch planned for 2026. uniQure's lead program, AMT-130, a one-time gene therapy for adult patients with Huntington's Disease, has received RMAT and Breakthrough Designation from the FDA.</p> <p>The Director, Market Insights and Analytics, Gene Therapy will be responsible for monitoring trends and identifying insights across the external market. They will develop, enhance, and operationalize communication of AMT-130 performance and integrate sources of insight for the organization. The Head of Market Insights and Analytics, Gene Therapy, is responsible for ensuring actionable recommendations and solutions that support the commercial success and launch of AMT-130. This position partners with the AMT-130 marketing team to ensure effective and impactful leverage of market research, competitive intelligence, and analytics initiatives. This position will collaborate, support, and work closely with Commercial Operations, Market Access, Patient Services, Marketing, Sales Teams, IT/CRM.</p> <p>Key result areas (major duties, accountabilities and responsibilities)</p> <ul> <li>Analyze and communicate relevant and timely market trends and competitor performance to understand drivers & barriers for AMT-130 </li><li>Champion the use of advanced analytics in evidence-based decision making to influence the business </li><li>Help shape the strategy AMT-130 by developing a robust, cross-functional insights generation program and brand performance reporting ecosystem. </li><li>Use comprehensive understanding of the competition at the brand level to inform the development of launch, short-term and long-term strategies and insight-based decisions </li><li>Develop, execute and disseminate primary and secondary market research supporting commercial brand planning, demand forecasting, and insights generation. </li><li>Utilize multiple, creative sources of market research to form the groundwork for strategy to better understand and anticipate customer needs. </li><li>Develop strong cross-functional relationships with other team members (marketing, sales, analytics, market access, medical affairs, patient services). </li><li>Manage relationships with external market research and analytics suppliers. </li><li>Manage brand-level Insights budget and project plan. </li></ul> <p>#LI-EB1</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS or equivalent experience required; advanced degree is preferred. </li><li>Applicants must have 15+ years of Market Research and Business Analytics experience with a broad range of market research primary and secondary research methods (qualitative, quantitative, primary and secondary, health care professional, payer, patient, etc.) as well as forecasting, competitive intelligence, and advanced business analytics is required. </li><li>Rare disease, specialty, or gene and/or cell therapy experience is a plus. </li><li>Applicants must have product launch experience. </li><li>A minimum of 2 years of people management experience is required in addition to a proven track record with talent development and empowering an accountable team. </li><li>Knowledge of the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry, </li><li>Demonstrated ability to integrate, leverage, and clearly communicate insights and analytics. </li><li>Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions. </li><li>Ability to work in the Lexington, MA office and travel up to 10% domestically </li></ul>
