External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.</p> <p>Your Role:</p> <p>The LS Global EHS team is comprised of regional EHS leaders dedicated to the business-level implementation of corporate EHS governance programs. As part of this extended team, you will support the Life Science Process Safety Center of Excellence by developing our business's expertise in consequence analysis.</p> <p>As the Consequence Analysis Leader, you will be responsible for developing a global program and providing guidance and direction to both business leadership and operational sites. Key tasks include developing and delivering internal business-level training programs for the following based on corporate standards:</p> <ul> <li> <p>PHA Facilitation</p> </li><li> <p>Facility Siting Facilitation</p> </li><li> <p>LOPA completion</p> </li><li> <p>SIL Calculation</p> </li><li> <p>Quantitative Consequence Analysis for hazardous releases</p> </li><li> <p>Fire and Explosion</p> </li><li> <p>Toxic</p> </li><li> <p>Hazardous Enclosure Assessment</p> </li><li> <p>Asphyxiants, toxics, oxidants, flammables, etc.</p> </li></ul> <p>Serving as a subject matter expert and individual contributor to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in incident investigations as requested</p> </li><li> <p>Complete LOPA, SIL, and other QCA</p> </li><li> <p>Develop relationships with third-party consultants capable of supporting such tasks when they cannot be completed internally</p> </li><li> <p>Develop Life Science best practices for performing these evaluations, including documentation of basis and assumptions used.</p> </li></ul> <p>This position offers flexible work arrangements, allowing for hybrid, remote, or onsite options.</p> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>We are seeking a leader in consequence analysis to develop business-level process safety consequence analysis implementation programs. An ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and demonstrated leadership in conducting consequence analyses through past career roles. The candidate should be stakeholder and safety-focused, with a desire to engage existing teams, promote best practices, and increase overall knowledge of consequence analysis principles within the Life Science business.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>B.S. in Engineering or related field or no degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience.</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of experience with responsibility for implementing process safety programs at a site or business level, with working knowledge of global Process Safety regulatory programs (e.g., OSHA PSM, Seveso III, COMAH, AQ/T 3034-2022).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience facilitating PHAs using HAZOP methodology (preference for experience using PHAWorks).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience completing quantitative consequence analysis models with the ability to generally describe programs or tools previously used (e.g., PHAST, ALOHA, HYSYS).</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated history of delivering technical and awareness training on consequence analysis-related topics.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support site MI programs as needed.? (Anticipated <15% annually) </p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience managing process safety programs, with a preference for those with experience building and implementing programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience performing LOPA and SIL calculations based on industry RAGAGEPs.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience facilitating DHAs per industry RAGAGEPs.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience building consequence analysis modeling tools based on standards and engineering principles.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to build professional relationships with various levels of leadership and site management through digital and in-person platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven track record of working in large matrix organizational environments with various stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and meeting management skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in one or more of the following chemical manufacturing disciplines: solvents, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, biologics.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to don standard plant PPE, including but not limited to head, eye, hand, body, and foot protection for an 8-hour shift.</p> </li></ul> <p>Pay Range for this position:?$103,000- $154,400</p> <p>Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data. Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.?
