<p>Job Description- Group Leader</p> <p>Day-to-day responsibilities include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Greet each child in the assigned group. </li><li>Work with the Site Director to take attendance. </li><li>Responsible for safety and well being of each child in his/her care. </li><li>Teach and lead assigned group activities. </li><li>Responsible for assisting other staff members in cleaning program areas at the end of each session. </li><li>Reports to Site Director. </li></ul> <p>Periodic Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for attending all staff meetings. </li><li>Assist Site Director in keeping an open line of communication between and among program directors, school principal and families. </li></ul> <p>Occasional Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for attending workshops, conferences, and in-service training. Dress Code: </li><li>The Solutions dress code is smart casual. </li><li>All Solutions staff should be neat and clean. </li></ul> <p>Work Timeframe:</p> <ul> <li>There are two Group Leader positions which exist within the Solutions program one is a school year position, and the other is a summer position. Group Leaders are hired, and rehired for positions accordingly. </li><li>School year positions, and summer positions hours vary according to availability. </li><li>Benefits are available to staff that work 20 hours a week or more. </li></ul> <p>Group Leader Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years or older and have a High School diploma </li><li>Experience in extended day, and/or working with school age children </li><li>Possess strong leadership and organizational skills. </li><li>Possess computer skills especially in Google apps </li></ul>
