Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH!</p> <p>MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Specialist to join our Air Force / Space team at Hill AFB. The Network Specialist's primary function is to support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Researching and developing solutions to issues that arise as part of daily operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting with developing new solutions to keep the network evolving and forward looking.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide Tier 2 and 3 supports for network testing and operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Managing network local test environment including, routers, switches, firewalls, servers, CUCM, and VOIP phones.</p> </li><li> <p>Creating documentation and diagrams for all projects as well as changes made to the network.</p> </li><li> <p>Working in a Hyper-V environment to help maintain servers related to network management.</p> </li><li> <p>Working with datacenter network technology including Nexus switches and vPC.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining and developing changes involving firewalls, routers, switches, TACLANES, Solarwinds, GEM One, and Hyper-V.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.</p> </li><li> <p>4+ years direct/related experience</p> </li><li> <p>Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II or higher certification</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of CISCO network and switching and virtualization technologies</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge communication security (COMSEC) policies and integration</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to assessments and authorization</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL2 and PL3 network environments/systems</p> </li><li> <p>Must be familiar with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration</p> </li></ul> <p>Security Clearance:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current Top-Secret Clearance</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)</p> </li><li> <p>Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to submit to a Polygraph.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.</p> </li><li> <p>Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations."</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs</p> </li></ul> <p>MANTECH International Corporation considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to disability or veteran status or any other status protected under any federal, state, or local law or regulation.</p> <p>If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply for a position with MANTECH, please email us at careers@mantech.com and provide your name and contact information.</p>
