<p>Position Summary</p> <p>As the Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy for WRC residents, including nutritional assessment, nutrition education, implementation of clinical dietetic policies and procedures, and quality assurance activities. You will also need to be a Registered and Certified Dietitian and will be responsible for providing required services to inmates at WRC/Wisconsin Women's Resource Center (WWRC) and also working with patients at WMHI.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The starting pay is between $30.20 and $35.19 per hour depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.</p> <p>Pay for current or former state employees is set based upon the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is in pay schedule and range 11/04.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.</p> <p>All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by WRC or medical personnel approved by the facility within 30 days of the start date.</p> <p>DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire. DHS is not an E-Verify employer nor a STEM-OPT eligible employer.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>At a minimum, you'll need the following:</p> <ul> <li>Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Candidates must provide proof of eligibility at the time of interview. Candidate must be registered at the time of hire. </li><li>Certified Dietitian or eligible for certification within 3 months of hire by the State of Wisconsin. If eligible, candidate must become by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. This eligibility will be verified as part of the interview process. </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) and food service software programs (e.g., CBORD, Comp nutrition, etc.). </li></ul> <p>It'd be great if you also have one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience providing nutrition assessments and developing therapeutic diets. </li><li>Experience providing nutrition education and counseling. </li></ul> <p>For a guide on developing your resume and what should be included in these materials, click here.</p> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Applying is easy!
