<p>Overview</p> <p>Assemble electronic or mechanical products from blueprints using assembly fixtures and power bench tools. Cut & crimp wires, form, connect and perform simple soldering in accordance with instructions. Fit and align fine electronic assemblies, recognize defective parts, inspect and test final assemblies on a variety of assembly operations</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Kanban Inventory process </li><li>Count and record parts from inventory with accuracy using basic math skills </li><li>Communicate shortages, scrap and delays when applicable </li><li>Read caliper, tape measure and interpret work instructions </li><li>Identify the correct colored wire(s) per work instructions </li><li>Operate small hand and power tools </li><li>Perform cuts, crimps, connections and soldering </li><li>Use computer software to locate and print assembly drawings </li><li>Identify and obtain accurate assembly fixtures as called by Work Order </li><li>Assemble products to Work Order specifications </li><li>Perform assembly tasks to meet daily production standards of quality and quantity </li><li>Package product for shipment </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school or general education (GED) preferred </li><li>Computer experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) required </li><li>2 years mechanical or electrical assembly preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Complete standardized written documentation and correspondence. </li><li>Professionally communicate in one-on-one and small group situations. </li><li>Ability to perform basic electronic tasks using computer software and Microsoft Office. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions/Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Environment is a modern production facility with heat and air conditioning </li><li>Ability to use fine motor skills (hand and fingers) to routinely manipulate assemblies, hand and power tools, wires, fixtures, and parts </li><li>The job requires the operation of material handling equipment </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is generally required to stand; bend, kneel, twist, reach overhead routinely to retrieve inventory or pack shipments </li><li>Required to maneuver routinely </li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds routinely </li><li>Ability to lift 31 pounds to 50 pounds occasionally </li><li>Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance occasionally </li><li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds over shoulders occasionally </li><li>Ability to lift over 25 pounds over shoulders rarely </li><li>Ability to push/pull up to 25 pounds regularly </li><li>Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds occasionally </li><li>Required to climb a ladder regularly </li><li>Required to safely ride product up to 14 feet in the air while performing product testing </li></ul>
