<p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in performing welding tasks under supervision using GMAW and FCAW processes. </li><li>Prepare materials, set up welding equipment, and clean weld joints. </li><li>Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. </li><li>Operate crane, forklift and band saws. </li><li>Support fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal components. </li><li>Inspect welds for quality and accuracy with guidance from senior welders. </li><li>Maintain tools and work area in a clean, safe, and organized condition. </li><li>Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and adherence to NOV and OSHA standards. </li><li>Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred </li><li>Basic understanding of welding techniques and tools (school or on-the-job training preferred). </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality workmanship. </li><li>Strong willingness to learn and take direction from experienced welders. </li><li>Ability to lift and move up to 50lb materials safely. </li><li>Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude. </li><li>Completion of a welding trade program or certification course (AWS or equivalent). </li><li>Hands-on welding experience (internship, school project, or entry-level role). </li><li>Familiarity with basic fabrication tools and measurement equipment. </li></ul>
