<p>Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. The incumbent will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and quality healthcare, providing wide-ranging patient care through various channels including diagnostic testing, treatment planning, discharge planning, case management, referrals, etc.</p> <p>Two years of experience or training in patient care or medical records.</p> <p>The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Greet and escort patients for routine examinations to the patient clinic rooms while demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills </li><li>Acquires medical histories, vital signs, weight, pulse, blood pressure, respiration, temperature, height, current medication and allergies. </li><li>Assist practitioners to deliver health care services, treatments, examinations, and procedures for patients with specialized needs in the outpatient setting. </li><li>Assist with emergency housekeeping and cleaning duties such as mopping up spills, emptying trash and sterilization of equipment.
