<p>Job Title: 5S Program Lead - Facility Organization & Asset Tagging</p> <p>Location: Framingham, MA</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract</p> <p>Experience Level: Expert</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive 5S Program Lead to champion cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across our facility. This role is essential in driving consistency and safety in high-traffic areas such as warehouses, maintenance shops, loading docks, mechanical rooms, and shared office spaces. You'll also play a key role in supporting our asset tagging initiative in collaboration with the CMMS team.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead the implementation and sustainment of 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across:</p> </li><li> <p>Warehouses, maintenance shops, loading docks, mechanical rooms</p> </li><li> <p>Copier rooms, conference rooms, kitchen equipment storage halls</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all spaces are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies</p> </li><li> <p>Remove clutter and waste to maintain a safe, efficient environment</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and enforce standardized organizational practices across facility areas</p> </li><li> <p>Create and maintain visual management tools (labels, signage, floor markings)</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct regular audits to ensure 5S compliance and continuous improvement</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement enhancements</p> </li><li> <p>Support asset tagging efforts by ensuring equipment is properly labeled and tracked</p> </li><li> <p>Help establish consistent standards for equipment identification and placement</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with maintenance and operations teams to ensure tagged assets meet compliance and usability standards</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience implementing 5S or lean methodologies in industrial or office settings </li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives </li><li>Familiarity with asset tagging systems and facility management practices </li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills </li><li>Associate's Degree required </li></ul> <p>Ideal Candidate Traits:</p> <ul> <li>Energetic self-starter with a "go-getter" attitude </li><li>Extroverted and collaborative, yet comfortable working independently </li><li>Passionate about driving operational excellence and continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
