<p>Business Development Executive - Retail & Consumer Goods Industry</p> <p>Avanade is looking for Business Development Executives, Senior Manager level, who are deal hunters, deal makers, originators and self-starters who can develop and win new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions. For this role, we are looking for people with experience in net new sales where you are selling digital transformation and consulting services (e.g. cloud implementation, business applications integration, etc.) to enterprise clients in the Retail & Consumer Goods sector.</p> <p>Characteristics that can spell success for this role:</p> <ul> <li>You are a team leader, deal hunter, deal idea maker, deal originator with experience selling to the Retail and Consumer Products industry. </li><li>You identify with being a self-aware, self-starter who develops and wins new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions. </li><li>You love to work collaboratively with energy, drive and dedication to overcome obstacles to achieve your goals. </li><li>You take ownership and encourage others to make a positive impact. </li><li>You have superb interpersonal skills and can establish strong relationships. </li><li>You anticipate and neutralize obstacles and objections. </li><li>You are a skillful influencer of internal and external resources. </li><li>Prospect and generate new relationships with decision makers and create opportunities and pipeline in a set territory of approximately 20-25 enterprise accounts in the Consumer Goods & Retail industry </li><li>Drive industry specific discussions with customer C-suite in both business and industry. </li><li>Build relationships with Microsoft and Alliance partners to co-sell solutions </li><li>Be responsible for identifying high potential transformation deals, leading, and running many of the entire sales cycles. </li><li>Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing business with direct clients. </li><li>Work closely with partners driving new business. </li><li>Build a pipeline for growth and closing business, including statements of work and contracts. </li><li>Build an industry network to gain referrals and form strong trusted relationships that open doors and close deals. </li><li>Maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions, contending offerings and current penetration of services and solutions. </li></ul> <p>To learn more about Avanade check out these links:</p> <p>LinkedIn</p> <p>Inside Avanade Blog</p> <p>Avanade Careers</p> <p>Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
