<p>Temporary Teacher at Maconaquah Elementary School</p> <p>Approximate Assignment Period: August 5, 2025-September 8, 2025)</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Teaching license/experience preferred </li><li>Must be proficient in oral and written communications </li><li>Must be able to work collaboratively with staff </li><li>Subbing experience with elementary students preferred </li><li>College degree/credit preferred </li></ul> <p>Instruction:</p> <ul> <li>Implement existing lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students. </li><li>Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning. </li><li>Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback. </li><li>Collaborate with support staff (e.g., special education teachers)to ensure the success of all students. </li></ul> <p>Classroom Management:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a positive, structured, organized, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning. </li><li>Implement and consistently enforce school and classroom rules and procedures. </li><li>Address student behavior issues effectively and in accordance with school policy. </li></ul> <p>Curriculum and Assessment:</p> <p>Become familiar with the 4th-grade curriculum and learning objectives.</p> <ul> <li>Administer and interpret assessments to monitor student understanding and inform instruction. </li><li>Provide input and feedback on curriculum and instructional practices as appropriate. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise students during non-instructional time, such as recess and transitions. </li><li>Participate in school-wide events and activities as needed. </li></ul>
