We proudly pursue top talent with a diverse and global set of experiences and backgrounds.</p> <p>We Are Looking For</p> <p>The Quality Engineer III will lead, implement, and continuously improve quality control systems to ensure standards are established, achieved, and maintained across the organization. This role serves as the primary quality interface with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with Company, Industry, and Customer standards. The Quality Engineer III will drive corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring and guiding the broader quality team.</p> <p>What You'll Do (Responsibilities)</p> <ul> <li>Oversees corrective action activities (internal, customer, supplier), leads Corrective Action Board meetings, prepares QLR reporting, and serves as a central quality point across regions </li><li>Maintains and improves work instructions and operating procedures, develops Technical Inspection Plans, and creates guided training videos to ensure compliance and operational consistency </li><li>Lead internal, registrar, and customer audits, including audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up </li><li>Manage calibration programs, PFMEA backlog, and upkeep, ensuring processes remain current and effective </li><li>Support sites during transition into FDH Aero QMS (FW, China), providing guidance and ensuring operational compliance </li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert in quality methodologies including Voice of Customer (VOC), Measurement Systems Assessment (MSA), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Cause & Effect (C&E), and Control Parameter Management (CPM) </li><li>Establish clear criteria to measure supplier performance; recommend and implement corrective actions, audits, or recognition programs </li><li>Facilitate resolution of supplier and customer quality issues, leading root cause analysis and implementation of effective countermeasures </li><li>Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers and cross-functional team members to drive knowledge sharing and consistent application of quality standards. </li><li>Communicate quality performance metrics and improvement initiatives to leadership and stakeholders </li><li>Regularly report on internal and external quality performance, including First Time Quality metrics, defect rates, and process improvements </li><li>Participate in and drive continuous improvement initiatives across sites, focusing on operational excellence, cost reduction, and enhanced customer satisfaction </li><li>Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service by investigating and resolving customer issues and complaints </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating accountability, reliability, responsiveness, and strong teamwork </li></ul> <p>What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Structural, Systems, or related field from an Accredited Institution </li><li>5+ years in distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain; aerospace quality systems experience preferred </li><li>3+ years of proven experience leading audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects </li><li>Advanced understanding and interpretation of engineering technical data, including manufacturing or part drawings </li><li>Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, organizational, project management, and decision-making abilities </li><li>Deep knowledge of internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings </li><li>Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulatory compliance </li><li>Proficient with MS 365 Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for reporting and analysis </li><li>Accountable, reliable, responsive, and a strong team player who can lead by example </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. </li><li>ITAR requirement </li><li>120.15.
