This position works directly with a franchised business location.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>This role requires a combination of technical skills, patient care, and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Diagnostic Imaging & Equipment Operation</p> <ul> <li>Perform all diagnostic x-rays as ordered by the treating provider using digital and non-digital imaging equipment in accordance with approved radiology techniques and clinic protocols. </li><li>Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures. </li><li>Explain procedures to patients in a compassionate and professional manner. </li><li>Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques. </li><li>Process images, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for physician and radiologist overreads. </li><li>Maintain and clean x-ray equipment and x-ray rooms between patients to ensure operational readiness. </li><li>Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, make minor repairs, and arrange for service as needed. </li></ul> <p>Clinical & Treatment Support</p> <ul> <li>Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures, and protocols. </li><li>Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care as needed. </li><li>Assist in triaging newly registered patients. </li><li>Direct patients to examination rooms and set up rooms based on patient complaints. </li></ul> <p>Administrative & Cross-Functional Duties</p> <ul> <li>Greet and register patients; verify insurance, collect co-pays, and copy insurance cards. </li><li>Complete required forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of imaging and clinical activity. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of patient waiting areas, exam rooms, and front office. </li><li>Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed. </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Meet Massachusetts state licensure requirements for Radiologic Technologists, including ARRT or NMTCB certification and compliance with up-to-date CEUs </li><li>Basic understanding of digital X-ray services </li><li>Familiarity with universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations </li><li>Team-oriented and adaptable; able to work independently as needed </li></ul> <p>Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour</p> <p>PS: It's All About You!</p> <p>American Family Care has pioneered the concept of convenient, patient-centric healthcare.
