<p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure on-time delivery of all orders at the lowest cost while meeting customer expectations. </li><li>Lead and support the Inventory/Warehouse team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. </li><li>Maintain accurate inventory levels to support production, shipping schedules, and working capital goals. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and HSE teams. </li><li>Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all NOV policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements. </li></ul> <p>Job Duties</p> <ul> <li>Supervise daily warehouse and inventory operations, including receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and material flow. </li><li>Oversee material receiving, inspection, discrepancy resolution, and timely receipt into the Omega ERP system. </li><li>Coordinate material planning with manufacturing and purchasing to proactively meet production demands. </li><li>Manage consumable inventory and create procurement requisitions as required. </li><li>Implement inventory controls for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, including sub-inventory structures and locators. </li><li>Conduct and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies. </li><li>Manage Bill & Hold inventory processes within the Omega system, when applicable. </li><li>Identify and address obsolete, excess, and surplus inventory in accordance with company policy. </li><li>Coordinate shipments and pickups with customers and carriers. </li><li>Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and storage capacity for efficiency and growth. </li><li>Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and improve inventory turnover and accuracy. </li><li>Support sustainability initiatives related to waste reduction and inventory practices. </li><li>Participate in production and resource planning discussions to support operational efficiency. </li><li>Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate employees; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed. </li><li>Approve employee timecards through the NOV timekeeping system. </li><li>Maintain budget oversight for inventory and warehouse operations. </li><li>Ensure warehouse and inventory processes comply with the Quality Management System (QMS). </li><li>Participate in emergency response activities and support incident reporting and resolution. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain operations. </li><li>Experience working with ERP systems; Omega ERP preferred. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); MS Project and Adobe preferred. </li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills. </li><li>Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment required. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to work flexible schedules as needed. </li><li>Familiarity with inventory KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover. </li></ul> <p>Veterans Welcome</p> <p>At NOV, we proudly support and hire U.S. military veterans.
