<p>SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>JOB TITLE: Clerk Senior - Billing</p> <p>REQUISITION: CUS00HP</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Billing Services</p> <p>LOCATION: Raytown Customer Center - 10700 E 350 Hwy, Raytown, MO</p> <p>PAY: $29.89</p> <p>Scheduled Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00</p> <p>Headquartered in both Kansas City and Topeka, Evergy employs about 4,900 people who are dedicated to empowering a better future. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Clerk Senior - Billing at our Raytown Customer Center.</p> <p>Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Performs advanced and complex clerical duties requiring the exercise of judgment and analysis. Work requires thorough knowledge of departmental and/or company procedures and related work performed in other departments. Work is usually subject to detailed verification. Performs duties of General Clerk and Junior Clerk. Duties may be varied or specialized. Performs similar and related work consistent with the general nature of this job classification. Uses any equipment necessary to perform job.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions: Must be able to perform all essential functions as identified by the Company. Reasonable accommodations may be made upon request to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Testing: EEI SASS (Support & Administrative Selection System)</p> <p>Education: High School or equivalent</p> <p>Experience: Two to five years clerical experience preferred.</p> <p>General: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. PeopleSoft, Excel and Word skills are preferred. Keyboarding at 30 wpm production and 25 wpm revised copy. A general understanding of Evergy customer bills and rates, great understanding of utility industry and excellent knowledge of PC software applications including spreadsheets, database, word processing and presentation software preferred.</p> <p>Evergy has a clear mission - To empower a better future.
