<p>Full job description</p> <p>Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is actively seeking to hire an RN/LPN-Staff Development Coordinator to administer, plan, develop, evaluate and coordinate educational programs for the training and development of staff to insure the competent delivery of care and services to the residents in our facility.</p> <p>Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC proudly serves our community's long-term care and rehabilitation needs. We are committed to providing loving excellence in senior care, specializing in individualized care. We offer services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and dementia/Alzheimer's care. Our goal is to provide this dignified care to all of our residents in a well maintained, home-like environment. This level of care would not be possible without our compassionate and professional staff.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plans, schedules and implements clinical training for all clinical staff. </li><li>Develop new training tools, policies and procedures. </li><li>Provide orientation and training of all employees. </li><li>Provides clinical modules during orientation to all employees using the appropriate materials. </li><li>Plans, coordinates, schedules and presents in-services for all departments (mandatory, voluntary and identified needs). </li><li>Coordinates, implements and maintains records of all in-service/ training for all staff. </li><li>Provide training on the use of new/ current educational equipment and resources. </li><li>Performs other staff education duties as required or directed for compliance with State and Federal Regulations. </li><li>Prepares supplementary education materials as required or directed for compliance with State and Federal Regulations. </li><li>Assesses the learning needs of the staff through direct and indirect observation, formal assessments and review of quality assurance improvement program evaluation results. </li><li>Measures the impact of programs and learning activities on staff through Quality Assurance. </li><li>Attends and participates in in-service training, performance improvement committees, and other meetings as scheduled and directed. </li><li>Maintains record of individual staff education/ training. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Required: RN/LPN License </li><li>Required: Two years experience and demonstrated competence in planning, implementing and directing educational programs for adults in the nursing field. </li></ul>
