<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Cumberland University - Lebanon, TN</p> <p>Education Level: Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p> <p>Description</p> <p>POSITION TITLE: Campus Visit & Guest Experience Coordinator</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Enrollment Services/Admissions</p> <p>SUPERVISOR: Director of Enrollment Services/VP of Enrollment Services</p> <p>GENERAL JOB FUNCTION</p> <p>To support the University's focus on recruiting, engaging, and establishing a talented student body, this position serves as the cornerstone for all recruitment activities and engagement efforts on the main campus and affiliate sites. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop, implement, and improve any campus activity designed for prospective undergraduate students reviewing Cumberland University. This position is responsible for coordination and execution of all aspects of visits related to group, individual, or University program specific campus experiences. This position also manages the coordination/oversight of admissions student leaders (President's Ambassadors) and assists with planning New Student Orientation.</p> <p>STANDARD EXPECTATIONS</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but not limited to:</p> <ol> <li> <p>To possess an understanding of, and a commitment to, the University Mission and Vision as well as the goals and objectives of Enrollment Services.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate, oversee, and schedule all daily campus visits, prospective student tours, group tours, and all recruiting-related meetings with assigned enrollment specialists (when available), academic offices, athletic offices and financial aid offices as requested by the student.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the implementation and facilitation of all Office of Admissions sponsored events, including but not limited to, Daily On-Campus Recruitment Activities, Open Houses, Preview Days, and Registration Days.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a high-quality campus tour program by enhancing existing services to expose high school and educational group tours to exciting and dynamic offerings at Cumberland. Be able to provide year- over-year or month-over-month reporting of visitors using enrollment CRM.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with University marketing to improve existing visit scheduling process. Discover new avenues to extend the Cumberland University brand to increase awareness of the institution and increase enrollment, including social media and departmental materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Review and control budgets associated with admissions event programming and President's Ambassador program expenditures. Keep track of student participant hours and continuously assess scholarship eligibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist university staff in recruitment of prospective students to their program and/or initiative as requested by supervisors, including visits to individual visits to high schools and community colleges, tele-counseling, and personal communications as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Help facilitate and implement peer mentoring/coaching model in partnership with the Executive Director of Student Success for President's Ambassadors. This program is geared towards enhancing the assimilation of prospective students to the university.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist the Director of Enrollment Services with efforts around prospective athlete enrollment, coordinating with coaches to design and execute official athletic recruitment events if requested.</p> </li><li> <p>Help to administer and implement in conjunction with Orientation coordinator, all aspects of Orientation</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties/tasks as may be assigned as requested by supervisors.</p> </li><li> <p>To participate in and complete a Performance Management Process, following the guidelines set forth by the University.</p> </li></ol> <p>DECISION MAKING AND MANAGEMENT</p> <p>Position carries out duties and responsibilities with limited supervision. Makes decisions and establishes work priorities on an essentially procedure-oriented basis. Position has limited supervisory responsibilities over student personnel such as graduate assistants and President Ambassadors.</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Required: Bachelor's Degree.</p> <p>Preferred: Bachelor's Degree with two (2) years of work experience in Higher Education; experience in Admissions and/or Athletics highly preferred.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS</p> <ol> <li> <p>Excellent oral communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Record keeping and reporting skills</p> </li><li> <p>Organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated leadership skills</p> </li><li> <p>Computer knowledge and skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to travel</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</p> </li></ol> <p>APPLICATION PROCEDURE</p> <p>The screening of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.
