<p>Position Title: Processing Supervisor</p> <p>Reports To: Assistant Manager</p> <p>Department: Operations</p> <p>Help Launch Our New Murfreesboro Store!</p> <p>We're gearing up for a fresh start in Murfreesboro-and we need passionate, driven leaders like YOU to help build the team from the ground up! As a Processing Supervisor, you'll play a key role in shaping our store's success and setting the standard for excellence in production, teamwork, and customer experience.</p> <p>Position Purpose and Objectives</p> <p>The Processing Supervisor is the engine that keeps the back-of-house humming. You'll lead the production team in meeting daily goals while ensuring every item that hits the sales floor is ready to wow our shoppers. From quality control to coaching, from donor interactions to training new team members-you'll be hands-on, high-energy, and all-in on making sure the Murfreesboro store thrives from Day One.</p> <p>This is your chance to be a founding team member, grow with the store, and make your mark!</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the production team.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor inventory systems and stock levels to keep merchandise flowing.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively address potential shortages or production slowdowns.</p> </li><li> <p>Clearly communicate daily targets and motivate the team to exceed them.</p> </li><li> <p>Help recruit, interview, and train new team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Create efficient staffing schedules that align with business needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Be hands-on-able to perform and demonstrate all tasks assigned to processors.</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly observe, recognize, and coach your team for performance improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure items meet our standards for quality, pricing, freshness, and shop-ability.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with store promotions and marketing campaigns as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide excellent donor service in accordance with company values.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a communication bridge-sharing team feedback and taking action when needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Escalate complaints or concerns to store leadership when appropriate.</p> </li><li> <p>Protect company property and information with integrity.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote and model best practices for loss prevention.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant working environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Step in to lead the production team when the Assistant Store Manager is away.</p> </li><li> <p>Make sound decisions and take initiative when store leadership is unavailable.</p> </li><li> <p>Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in retail, production, or a similar environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable with basic math, computer use, and inventory systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing hands-on tasks.</p> </li><li> <p>High School diploma or GED preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Confident in observing, coaching, and developing a diverse team.</p> </li><li> <p>Good judgment and strong decision-making abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Must pass background check, MVR check, and drug screening.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.</p> </li><li> <p>Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Frequently:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lift/carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 25 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Climb ladders up to 14 ft, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, handle goods.</p> </li><li> <p>Walk, bend, reach overhead and at waist level, use fine motor skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>Continuously:</p> <ul> <li>Stand on hard surfaces, talk, hear, and see clearly. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule & Environment</p> <ul> <li> <p>Regular and weekend shifts, with occasional evenings and holiday hours.</p> </li><li> <p>Indoor working conditions with semi-controlled temperatures; outdoor work as needed in varying weather.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Duties as Assigned</p> <p>Other duties as assigned: Please note that this job description may not cover every duty or responsibility that might arise in the course of employment.
