The Retail Store Associate is an integral part of creating an outstanding experience in a Funko retail store. An ambassador of the brand, our Store Associates are enthusiastic, motivated team players who are passionate about pop culture and assisting fans to guide and generate sales.</p> <p>Please note this is a seasonal position ending in August, 2025.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Provide fans with a unique shopping experience by ensuring excellent customer service </li><li>Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment </li><li>Determine fan needs based on probing questions and suggest additional items based on getting to know the fans </li><li>Build strong relationships with customers to promote loyalty </li><li>Handle sales transactions at the register </li><li>Replenish and organize/tidy-up merchandise </li><li>Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>1+ years of retail and/or immersive event experience </li><li>Track record of creating memorable and engaging customer experiences </li><li>Excellent verbal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with fans, peers, and management </li><li>Has a good understanding of Pop Culture and follows Pop Culture trends </li><li>Consistently demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for the brand </li><li>Open and flexible availability </li><li>Regularly required to sit, stand, and bend; may lift/move up to 30 pounds occasionally </li></ul> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The base hourly for this position in the selected city is $18.
