New Canaan, CT</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Clean and maintain office spaces, kitchenettes, hallways, stairways, elevators, and common areas. </li><li>Service all restrooms daily and as needed. </li><li>Empty wastebaskets and replace liners throughout the building. </li><li>Wash and fold towels. </li><li>Keep housekeeping carts and storage areas organized and clean. </li><li>Wipe down surfaces, windowsills, woodwork, and counters. </li><li>Support special events as assigned. </li><li>Report rooms or equipment requiring immediate attention to the Housekeeping Supervisor. </li><li>Respond to radio calls for housekeeping needs. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Skills & Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. </li><li>Able to push/pull carts and engage in frequent walking, standing, and sitting. </li><li>Use proper body mechanics and follow safety procedures. </li><li>Operate cleaning equipment (mops, brooms, vacuums) and handle chemicals safely. </li><li>Perform routine, repetitive tasks while maintaining professionalism with visitors and colleagues. </li><li>Communicate effectively with team members. </li><li>Ability to work evenings for special events when needed. </li><li>English communication skills required. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of one year of housekeeping experience. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Compensation range: $20 - $22</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Grace Farms offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package that includes tuition reimbursement, different medical plan options, including dental and vision coverage, 100% employer-paid basic life insurance and short-term disability, along with a 403(b)-retirement plan with an organizational match.
