<p>Haul Truck Driver responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to the list below. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Loads truck by hand or by operating mechanical loader. </li><li>Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents. </li><li>Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes </li><li>Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements, size up load </li><li>Follow all safety policies, procedures and legislation, at all times observes and operates within applicable traffic laws </li><li>Communicate with other Haul Truck Drivers and equipment operators using communication devices such as a two-ways radio or onboard computers </li><li>Moves hand and foot controls to jerk truck forward and backward to loosen and dump material adhering to body. </li><li>High School diploma/GED. </li><li>Have a minimum of 1-2 years of haul truck driving experience or a minimum of 2 years of training with a minimum of 6 months of equivalent work experience. </li><li>Must have 1+ year in maintain log books </li><li>Willing to do labor work </li><li>Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment. </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer: We do not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, genetic information, marital status, military status, membership or activity in a local human rights commission, or status with regard to public assistance, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.</p> <p>#LI-KM1</p>
