<p>Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean and the Humanities Dept. Chair, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for instructing students in various courses, including Beginning German I and II, Second Year German I and II and Accelerated Second Year German. The instructor is responsible for creating course-content related materials designed to achieve identified course objectives and outcomes, utilizing various teaching strategies - including Engaged Learning practices, and monitoring and evaluating student progress, maintaining accurate student records using the required LMS grade book, communicating with students, etc. Teaching formats may include one or all of the following: face-to-face, hybrid, online and/or distance-learning.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Promote a Culture of Belonging</p> <p>Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students, faculty members, and college employees feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute.
