<p>Radiologist interprets radiological and Nuclear Medicine examinations as privileges are granted by the Chief of Imaging and the Professional Standards Board. Provides written report within 48 hours of the examination. Radiologist will work under the general supervision of the Chief of Imaging.</p> <p>This position is remote work eligible and is exempted from return to office requirements. Medical Center, part of the VA Capitol Health Care Network (VISN 5), offers a comprehensive range of services, including internal medicine, ambulatory surgery, audiology and speech pathology, dental, nursing home, nutrition, podiatry, prosthetics, women's health, mental health and rehabilitation medicine. Patient care is provided through an integrated primary care concept, and each veteran is assigned to a team of health care providers that follows the patient's care both as an inpatient and an outpatient. The employees of the Martinsburg VAMC are dedicated to improving the quality of life for eligible veterans through excellent health care.</p> <ul> <li>Interprets General Radiology examinations (plain film). </li><li>Performs fluoroscopic examinations with the assistance of a licensed Technologist. </li><li>Performs some basic IR procedures (Paracentesis) when IR doctor not available. </li><li>Interprets Ultrasound, CT, and MRI examinations. </li><li>Participates in Quality Management activities such as image quality and peer review. </li><li>Provide guidance and direction to the technologists performing CT, MRI, US, plain film, and fluoroscopic examinations. </li><li>Participates in education of facility and Imaging staff and students from affiliated programs. </li><li>Supports and participates in continuous learning and self-development. </li><li>Participate in clinical conferences such as Tumor Board and others. </li><li>Work is evaluated on peer review process and RVU production. </li><li>Other activities as required. </li></ul> <p>VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
