Work for the best and join the Heart of the CarDon family of care.</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <p>The Nurse Unit Manager for Assisted Living at Copper Trace plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to residents. This position is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, managing patient care protocols, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Nurse Unit Manager will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Additionally, this role involves mentoring and training nursing staff to enhance their skills and improve patient outcomes. Ultimately, the Nurse Unit Manager is dedicated to fostering a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for both residents and staff.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring optimal patient care. </li><li>Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams. </li><li>Monitor and assess the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining a safe environment for residents. </li><li>Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss patient care issues, staff performance, and ongoing training opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Our ideal candidate</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field. </li><li>A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management. </li><li>Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings. </li><li>Certification in Nursing Management or Leadership. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills in nursing education and patient care are essential for developing effective care plans and ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care.
