The ideal candidate will be experienced in system start-ups, troubleshooting, and performing high-quality service on a variety of HVAC equipment. This role also involves working with low-voltage controls, reading schematics, and performing light ductwork tasks. Experience with blueprint reading is required; experience completing full take-off lists is a plus.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform system start-ups on RTUs, split systems, and VRF systems </li><li>Diagnoses and repair issues within HVAC systems and components </li><li>Run and terminate low-voltage control wiring - Read and interpret wiring schematics and control diagrams </li><li>Assist with basic ductwork tasks as needed - Read and understand blueprints to support installation and service work </li><li>(Optional but preferred) Complete or assist with HVAC take-off lists for materials </li><li>Maintain a high standard of safety, workmanship, and customer service - Document work performed and communicate findings clearly </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Valid HVAC License (state-appropriate) </li><li>5+ years of HVAC field experience preferred </li><li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills </li><li>Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints </li><li>Familiarity with RTUs, split systems, and VRF technology </li><li>Basic understanding of duct systems </li><li>Ability to run low voltage wiring neatly and efficiently </li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills </li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills (Not Required)</p> <p>Experience creating or reviewing HVAC take-off lists</p> <p>Knowledge of advanced controls or BAS systems</p> <p>KCC COMPANIES IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</p> <p>Terra Beaver - Talent Specialist - tbeaver@kccmfg.com - 502.493.5848</p> <p>Laura Zoghbi - Recruiting Coordinator - lzoghbi@kccmfg.com - 502.493.5859</p>
