<p>Summary: Ensure that all First Article Inspections (FAIs) meet customer requirements, productivity, and quality expectations. Provide support to Quality and Program Management .</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Create FAIs as per AS9102 and customer requirements. Using technical knowledge and experience, interpret drawing requirements and accuracy for first-run orders and drawing revisions. Identify missing or erroneous information and verify that all drawing and specification requirements are met on FAIs.</p> <p>Perform part inspections related to FAI.</p> <p>Create work instructions detailing standard work for FAI related processes.</p> <p>Provide direction and train other team members as needed.</p> <p>Make recommendations for improvements to . Contribute to 5S program in work area.</p> <p>Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety and environmental incidents to supervisor.</p> <p>Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.</p> <p>Perform other duties as assigned. Accomplish related results as needed.</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>AS Degree in Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering preferred.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>6-10 years of creating FAIs and/or as a part inspector.</p> <p>Physical Demands: Continual sitting Frequent mental and visual attention Occasional (15-40%) lifting and moving materials up to 20 lbs.</p>
