<p>Youth MOVE CO Youth Engagement Summer Associate</p> <p>Youth Move Colorado is dedicated to making a lasting positive impact on young people affected by poverty or at risk of homelessness. Our multifaceted approach aims to empower youth by enhancing their access to vital resources, ensuring that no young person misses an opportunity to thrive. As an AmeriCorps Summer Associate, you will play a pivotal role in increasing connections between youth and essential resources. Our program joins with local non-profits to implement strategies that foster community building, enabling young people to develop meaningful relationships and support networks. Program strategies include facilitating life skills workshops and financial literacy training, equipping youth with the tools they need for independent living and future success. By engaging with participants, you will help them gain confidence and prepare for their return to school, ensuring they are ready to face new challenges with resilience. Your primary focus will be on increasing connections between youth and essential resources and opportunities during the summer months through outreach activities that young people are informed about available summer programs and support services.
